Welcome to Broadmeadow Medical Centre. Broadmeadow Medical Centre is the custodian of your medical record following the closure of your previous practice, Adamstown Medical Centre, on 9th June 2020.
Broadmeadow Medical Centre will not access your health record until you have confirmed that you wish to seek GP care at our practice.
If you are seeking care with another general practitioner, you will need to complete an authority to transfer your records and we will duly arrange for the records to be transferred.

Handover Process
We welcome all patients from Adamstown Medical Centre to visit one of our GPs or specialists. To make an appointment please either book online using the “Book Appointment Online” link on this page, or phone us on 02 4041 4400. Please note that we do use a different online booking system than Adamstown Medical Centre and you may have to enter your details again. When Booking Online please indicate that you are a new patient.

Our staff and doctors have been made aware that Adamstown Medical Centre patients may be transferring to our practice and will ensure that all patient details are correct before booking an appointment for you.

About the Broadmeadow Medical Centre
Broadmeadow Medical Centre has been operating since 1998 and is a GPA accredited surgery. All doctors within our centre are committed to providing you with the best care. Located on site is a Pharmacy, Pathology, Physiotherapy, Hunter Women’s Health, Broadmeadow Skin Cancer Clinic, a Psychologist, and compassionate nursing and administration staff.
We are open Weekdays from 7am – 5pm, and Saturday 8:30am – 12pm. We can offer you plenty of off-street parking and excellent disabled access.
We are a mixed billing practice offering both bulk billing and fee-paying services. We can claim your Medicare rebate and organise it to be refunded into your bank account
